Suggesting he is an agent of the omnipotent, invisible Lottery that controls the fate of all people, The Hitman invites Patrick to play “his own little game” towards an unknown intent. Patrick Cauldron enters the world of The Hitman’s Lottery and strange events unfold. “The one that got away” from him in passionate youth arrives at his door as a previously arranged call girl. He commits murder at the order of an unseen hand, an unheard voice. When his own name is given as his target, the secret intentions of The Hitman are revealed, and the resultant revelation disrupts reality. While this is the story of the play, none of the shocking details are revealed here.
