Recent Gallup Polls confirm that most Americans find homosexuality okay. That said, in a 21st century America, is it okay to be openly gay? In particular, is it okay if public officials are openly gay? How powerful is the grip of a society's longstanding morals, values, and (justified) traditions that a man willingly denies himself happiness? Based on a true story, Precious Illusions is a short tragic play that gives you glimpse into the relationship between a writer and a politician. |
