A woman has killed herself and her husband's beloved dog in the most gruesome manner.Calvin has the misfortune of picking up, in his taxi, the dead woman's guilt-ridden husband, her angry lesbian lover, and the suicide's vengeful father, all in the span of a few days, before and after the funeral. Calvin, who is a Persian Gulf War veteran and has a bad heart, doesn't need the turmoil these three disturbed souls brinng into his cab, examining their lives with the deceased. But Calvin can't help himself, his compassion overpowering him, and against his better judgement, becomes embroiled in his passengers' conflicted relationships and deadly plans. |
