Sarah is a freelance Web designer who recently broke up with her first and only boyfriend, Peter, a simple man who is obsessed with dungbeetles. She escapes her mundane life through her warrior avatar, Aquilina. After the breakup, Sarah finds herself homeless and moves in with Eve, a sensual genetic scientist who draws her power from a pair of tall boots. Eve is everything Sarah is not and everything the mousy computer geek wishes she could be. But the problem is that Sarah falls for Eve’s casual boyfriend, Ty, a smooth operator. Sarah grows tired of being on the fringe and all things evolve … or break down. |
