The Chicago Improv Festival is back at GTT! The following performances will be presented as a part of the 2013 Chicago Improv Festival:
Friday, April 5, 2013 - 7pm
Hitch*Cocktails and Ballpark Theatre Company
Ballpark Theatre Company (Oklahoma City) is a narrative supertroupe focused on tackling film genres and musicals and performing them in the “ballpark” of the intended genre.
Hitch*Cocktails (Chicago) is a fully improvised Alfred Hitchcock film slash drinking show. It starts with an audience suggestion, then the players will create a full length thriller in the style of Alfred Hitchcock.

Mannerhouse Manor and Improvised Philip K. Dick
Mannerhouse Manor (ComedySportz LA) is a fully improvised Edwardian comedy in the style of Downton Abbey or Upstairs, Downstairs.
Improvised Philip K. Dick (New York City) creates a brand new universe featuring alternate realities, dystopian governments, pschotropic drug experiments, and shifting identities.

Lonesome and Ballpark Theatre Company
Ballpark Theatre Company (Oklahoma City) is a narrative supertroupe focused on tackling film genres and musicals and performing them in the “ballpark” of the intended genre.
Lonesome is Tyler Samples’ (Chicago) one-person improvised Western. Dressed in costume and backed by a live band, he spins a story of flawed heroes and hard choices, unfolding in a physicalized environment that draws on the classic imagery, tropes and archetypes of the genre.
