Do you want to have FUN ON STAGE, make new friends and get the personal coaching that improves your skills while gaining weekly stage time in front of an audience??? Then be a part of the GTT Improv Zoo. GTT Improv Zoo is now accepting head shots & resumes for it's next audition - JULY 13TH - starting at 11am. Contact kristi (at) gorillatango (DOT) com to get your audition slot today before they fill up. The GTT Improv Zoo combines rehearsals + performances for 12 full weeks. As a member, you will: * Rehearse every Tuesday from 6:30 - 8:30 with expert coaches * Perform weekly in the GTT Improv Zoo "Uncaged" show, Tuesdays at 9. * Gain stage presence in front of a real audience * Experience ensemble team building * Advancement of your personal improv skills based on your goals If accepted, you pay $240 to cover coaching, rehearsal space, marketing, etc. for the entire season. (This is less than other programs charge for 8 weeks), plus GTT Improv Zoo guarantees you perform EVERY WEEK for the entire 12 weeks. (payment plan is available). Teams rehearse Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30. Shows begin at 9. Season starts July 30th. Former members of this team have gone on to be placed on teams at The Playground, iO Chicago, accepted into the Second City Conservatory or have created amazing independent teams. Many team members continue the fun for multiple seasons in a row. Seeking Costume Interns |

| Description: | Gorilla Tango Burlesque is seeking costume interns. Interns are not paid, but are provided with an opportunity for gaining real-world experience while honing professional skills and building their portfolio under our wing. Interns also benefit from comp tickets to productions.
Candidates may be asked to attend specific rehearsals or meetings or run necessary errands. 10-20 hours per week on a flexible schedule to suit the candidates needs. Immediate need, qualified candidates will be asked to interview starting June 20th through 27th with ongoing need. |

Basic sewing skills required: machine and hand. Basic crafting skills useful: such as gluing, painting, stenciling, millinery, shoe embellishment, etc... Candidates must be independent and self-starters, as projects will be done without full time supervision. Highly communicative in email and text mostly. Candidates are a part of the design and build process, encouraged to ask questions and suggest costume improvements. Owned equipment preferred: machine, glue gun, etc... Car or own transportation helpful but not required. |
